We all have to work, whether we like it or not. However for most individuals it
may be far better to work smarter not harder.

Many people feel that being an entrepreneur is the key to not only higher
wages, but overall happiness in life.

So what does it really mean to be an entrepreneur?

Entrepreneur is defined as:
"A person who starts or organizes a business company, especially one
involving risk".

One cannot ignore the word "risk" involved with entrepreneurship, however if
you have a great idea below are six reasons why everyone should consider
working for themselves:
1. No one looking over your shoulder.
Working for yourself, means just that! No worrying about making it to work
on time.  The stress of being on your "P's" and "Q's" because of a moody
supervisor is long gone! Ultimately your success is truly in your hands, risky or
not it's up to you to get the job done
.
2.  You'll have the ability to cut down on your expenses.
In today’s economy we may find ourselves doing little things to reduce how
much money is being used. However, looking at the bigger picture often wages
from employment go to work related expenses like; clothing and
transportation.  By working for yourself you will be able to omit many of those
work related expenses leaving more money in your pocket at the end of each
month.
3.  No more “Monday Moring Blues”.
Now, with your career in your own hands you can avoid the “Monday Moring
Blues”. There are many individuals who experience   the “Monday Morning
Blues” after working five or more days during the week and then only getting
two days off, and have to get up bright and early on Monday to do it all over
again! Most entrepreneurs work 24/7 not because they have to but because
they enjoy the work they are doing, that even Saturday is enjoyable to begin
working and because of the great effort that will be applied, success becomes
much more likely!
4. You can now regain your life!
Often, when working for someone else you end up missing out on the
important things in life from; your kids, your spouse, your pets, exercise,
and/or personal grooming…

You get the point.

However working for yourself you have a greater ability to regain your life.
Now work that provides you income can be done anywhere whether it is at a
home office, coffee shop, on a plane even in bed!
5.  Better and bigger networks.
Being your own boss will often require that you take part in social events such
as trade shows and events engaging with other business owners. Before you
know it you will have a network of people who share the same interests as you,
creating better and longer lasting relationships with these individuals.
6. Fame & Recognition.
Creating your own successful business is extremely commendable; other will
take notice and may even look to you for information on how to do the same
for themselves.  You can now take pride in yourself and your contributions to
society.

consider working for themselves.
